Rana Daoud

Rana is a journalism graduate from the American University in Dubai. She started working with Sowt as a host for the original show “Dom Tak”, before becoming a full time in-house producer in 2020. 

She had been a Data Storyteller & Planner at multinational agencies for four years. She used to juggle spreadsheets and decks to craft narratives.. Oh well, she still does that at Sowt. She was also a lead moderator at Twitter’s Translation Center that introduced the platform’s Arabic products in 2012 (explains her two-lettered handle).

Rana is grateful for digital typefaces that present her ideas neatly, concealing her barely legible handwriting.
